David Hutton
Associational Mission Strategist
David has served as the Associational Mission Strategist for the Mountain State Baptist Association since July 2023. He has served churches in Connecticut, Maine and Texas; was the associational leader in Illinois and served with the IMB for 14 years in North Africa and South Asia. He really enjoys football, fishing and food. He married Shannon in 1992 and they have two sons: Caleb and Zachary.
David's life verse is Philippians 3:10, "My goal is to know Him and the power of His resurrection, the fellowship of His suffering, being comformed to His death."

Mrs. Shirley Milam
Administrative Assistant
Shirley began working at MSBA in June 2005 as part-time assistant secretary but became administrative assistant in March of 2012. She is the financial secretary and serves as clerk at meetings and is also on the committee on committees and scholarship committee for MSBA. She and her husband, Jim live in Bluefield, WV and have 5 children and 6 grandchildren. She is a member of First Baptist Church of Bluewell where her husband Jim is the pastor.
